       Blackpool Reunion Dinner Evening 2022

Well, it was another great evening
at the Grand Hotel in Blackpool for
our Reunion Dinner on October 8th.
There were 82 of us that sat down this
year, and everyone seemed to have a
good time. Everyone seemed to enjoy
the food, and wine that went on each
table. It was great to see old friends
meeting up. Phil Howard managed to
get a group together from Cyprus that
had not seen each other since 1977
(5 in total). I also noticed lots of people
meeting up from last year’s dinner. Our
reunion dinners seem to be growing
each year which is great. I had a
great time putting faces to names
as I had only dealt with names as
people booked in by email. We
also had the pleasure of Eric Lewis,
      the Association Secretary and his
wife who attended this year. I think
that might have been to see how we
are spending your Money which we
apply for each year. I must say a big

who always give us a generous grant to
help with the costs. That’s the reason
our prices have stayed the same for the

were a lot of Grandchildren getting

went along with each table setting too.
I must say that the Grand Hotel look
after us very well indeed and the room
                                                                              and décor was beautiful. Everything
was in Corp colours and looked good.
I hope that they can do the same for us
