Regarding the financial situation of the Society
it is evident that we can no longer subsidise events
as much as we have to date, as our reserves have run
dry. However it was clear from the responses to the
questionnaire distributed earlier this year that the
majority of players are prepared to pay most if not
all of the costs. Again a positive sign that members
want the Society to continue to provide a forum for
reuniting ‘Auld Acquaintances’.
