Ladies Dinner Night

Friday 28th October 2022 at the Aviator Hotel

The Officers’ Club Ladies Dinner is the highlight of
the Officers’ Club events and always attracts a high
attendance, 2022 was no different with 75 attending. Sky Lounge dance floor
The event was held at the Aviator Hotel, Farnborough
adjacent to the airfield. The Hotel has a fine reputation Menu:
for good service and excellent food – we were not Pressing of smoked salmon with lime jelly,
disappointed with both the food and service being
first class. crispy quail egg,
The evening was split with pre-drinks in the watercress & green apple remoulade
Earhart room, dinner in the Wright Dining room and melba toast
followed by entertainment and dancing in the Sky •
lounge – there is very much an aeronautical theme going on. Some Duo of lamb rack and belly with
more than other made full use of the dance floor and a special mention leek & potato gratin, feta cheese croquettes
goes out to Maj Terry Reddings for his dance floor exploits – I bet he
suffered the morning after with some of the moves he pulled! and black olive powder

Diary Marker. The Aviator Hotel is a great setting, located centrally to the Chocolate Financier with clementine sorbet
mass of Club members and as such it has been booked again for Friday 27th and salted caramel
October 2023. Put it in your diary today and ensure you book for next year. •
