The RLC Plot at the Field of Remembrance

Not only was the ACC represented at the Field RLC Corps Col and Corps
of Remembrance, of course The RLC was as well. RSM meeting the Duchess
of Cornwall
In this case the plot representatives included the
Corps Colonel, Colonel Jon West ADC, the Corps
RSM WO1 Christopher Sutherland and Private
Sophie Lamond from 13 Air Assault Support
Regiment RLC who had recently returned from
assisting with the evacuation of Afghanistan. Not
surprisingly, the group caught the eye of Camilla,
Duchess of Cornwall and The Rt Hon Ben
Wallace, Secretary of State for Defence and for-
mer Captain in the Scots Guards. Behind the plot
stood Lt Col Steve Yafai, Secretary of The RLC
Association, Lt Col Ian Stark, RLC Regimental
Secretary and Victoria Parkes, Veterans, Families
and Civil Engagement Officer from RHQ The
RLC, amongst others.
