Brian Kay and his wife Jan pictured at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra on 15th March 2020.
They are standing at the Memorial of Colonel Sir Ernest Edward “Weary” Dunlop, AC, CMG, OBE who
served as a RMO on the Burma Railway and Changi Prisoner of War camp in Singapore in WW2. He
was a true hero and Brian was honoured to meet him personally at a ‘Bush’ hospital at Hay, Victoria
in the 1980’s.
No less than four Colonels Commandant of the
AACC attended their recent dinner in Canberra
on 14th March 2020
