ACC Officers’ Club Summer Outing at
Leander Club Wednesday 7th June 2023
The Officers Club returned to the Leander Club
again in 2023 to enjoy the ambience and beauty
of the surrounding area. There was some debate
whether we should return considering the under-
whelming event in 2022 where the service and food
failed to live up to expectation. I am glad to say, that
although the event was undersubscribed, the event
was well received – the club pulled out all the stops,
canapes were served, prosecco chilled and lunch
was extremely good – our members all provided
the proverbial thumbs up stating that they had a
wonderful day.
As stated, numbers were down and only 40 were
booked to attend but this did not detract from the
members and their guest’s enjoyment. We were
very fortunate, in that, although the weather did
start out a little cloudy the weather improved to a
beautiful, cloud free and sunny day which allow us Top Table finishing by hoping that more members would
