100th birthday
ACC Association member Ronald Kinton,
former lecturer at Acton
Hotel School and later
Ealing College of Higher
Education from 1957 to 1973,
celebrated his 100th birthday
on Saturday 23rd January
2021. Ron is best-known as
the co-author with Victor
Ceserani of the industry ‘bibles’,
Practical Cookery and The Theory
of Catering, two famous text
books which are still used today
by many students, lecturers, and chefs. Ron
celebrated his birthday with his daughter Ann, and
